Brian married his high school sweetheart in 1988, and the two of them have three amazing and creative children. Brian loves hanging out with and getting to know people, reading, and working hard to better his community.
Chip lives in Charlevoix, MI with his wife, Alisa, and children, John & Anna. He has served at Community Reformed Church for more than 12 years. He enjoys basketball, reading, and watching his kids’ activities. He is also an avid Minnesota sports fan. His family says he thinks he’s funnier than he actually is.

Jess Shults is the Lead Pastor of Standale Reformed Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and serves there along with her husband Matt, who is the director of Youth Ministry and Outreach. They are blessed to parent two very active boys. Together, their family greatly enjoy sports and often can be found at the basketball court or on the lacrosse field. Traveling and boating are also family favorites.

John is kind of an average guy who has had remarkable relationships and opportunities cross his path, including the people in this book, his wife and children, and churches he has served.

Nate is the pastor of Christ’s Community Church in Fishers, Indiana. A writer and blogger, he regularly publishes articles on his personal blog and has been a guest blogger for Rachel Held Evans and Ann Voskamp. His writing has also appeared in The Huffington Post, Sojourners, the Deseret News, and RCA Today, a denominational publication. In 2015, Nathan published his first book, Man Enough: How Jesus Redefines Manhood, with Zondervan Publishing. In his free time, Nate enjoys playing with his kids, hunting, downhill skiing, and discovering good restaurants with his wife.
